C.S. Lewis once said, “If you do not listen to Theology, that will not mean that you have no ideas about God. It will simply mean that you have a lot of wrong ones.” In today’s contemporary world, it seems as if objective truths have given way for subjective ones. People are no longer willing to be held accountable to objective faithful reasons for believing in God, if it means having to do away with their comfortable personal ideas and or beliefs. Many have embraced reason, through countless academic portals, as a way of fi nally declaring, “now that we have found reason, through science, we have no need for outdated myths and superstitious beliefs in a higher science.” But it is precisely here where one needs it the most. For no matter how many reason based theories and formulas exist, none exist that can confi rm one being able to lift themselves up by their contemporary bootstraps, regardless of how much one pulls and pulls.

Horacio Villegas is a 34 year old Catholic Author who has authored two other books, “The Forty Letters of Preparation for the End of An Age,” and “Faith through Reason.” He started writing at the age of 30, and continues to write today for the purposes of Christian Catholic apologetics.
