About the Author

Alice Goertzen resides on the Iron Range in northern Minnesota with her husband, Gary. Debra, her youngest daughter, and Barb (Debra’s best friend), are the models for the two main characters in this story. Barb is also the illustrator. Sandora’s adventures were all inspired by actual events from their lives.
