About the Book
When it comes to saving the galaxy… They probably aren’t the best choice! Aside from racism and bigotry, they have many more less-than-desirable qualities, but together they will argue, stereotype, and cut each other down to rid the galaxy of the invading insects! Pulled together by accident, circumstance, and ignorance, Saprophyte, Basset, and the rest are licensed by the Humans, Talgorians, Squarahauntins (and probably others as well) to fight for the freedom of the Milky Way Galaxy! The bugs have invaded! Every sentient race has been enslaved! All hope lies in the efforts of a motley crew to save the galaxy! They will have to work fast, think fast, and stop being so stupid! In a galaxy where ignorance is not only bliss, but commonplace as well, they will have to think outside the norm! As they jump from one corner of the galaxy to another, the crew will take you on a hilarious joyride, in search of a means by which to rid the galaxy of the “evil” Onosadafins!
About the Author
R.J. Hrubik resides in the township of Mantua, Ohio with this wife, Maudie. He enjoys writing, painting, sketching, and fishing. He is currently employed at a rubber extrusion plain in Ravenna, Ohio. It wasn’t until Maudie was diagnosed with cancer that he became inspired to write The Stupid Galaxy. He had always had a creative imagination and witty sense of humor, but it wasn’t until Maudie’s cancer that he felt inspired to put his gifts to use. During this dismal time in their lives, Robert started writing The Stupid Galaxy. It was his attempt to help Maudie stay focused, and laugh, as the two of them faced the challenges and healing process from the cancer. He would read chapters of the story to her each week, as she lay in bed. Now, he wishes to share this with the rest of the world and hopes that others will find it to be as amusing and entertaining.
