About the Author

About the Author Jennifer (Thompson) Springer lives in Newton, Iowa with her husband Brian and her daughter Lilian. Jennifer is an Elementary Special Education Teacher in Des Moines, Iowa. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa and a Master of Arts in Special Education from Morningside College. Her grandmother is the illustrator of this book. About the Illustrator Nancy Annee lives in Newton, Iowa with her husband Joe. Nancy and her husband are retired. Nancy enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and doing arts and crafts.
