Peter Harrison, an aspiring author, loses his parents in an airplane crash on Mount Everest. He inherits considerable wealth as a result. He then enters the University of Arizona, majoring in creative writing. He takes a nearby apartment owned by the Anderson Family. The Anderson’s have six year old daughter, Nancy, who Peter befriends and becomes her mentor. Over the years, both grow older and their relationship deepens. Through his department chair, Peter connects with a major publisher. He graduates and completes his first successful novel. Nancy becomes a successful writer as well. Along the way Peter discovers that he has become deeply in love with Nancy. She has been in love with him all along. They eventually confess their love for each other and after Nancy graduates from college they make a long lasting and happy marriage.


About the Author

Andrew Swanson spent the last twenty-seven years of his career as a consultant to nonprofit boards of directors throughout the United States and Canada. He was the first consultant to devote full time to this activity and it involved him in a wide variety of fields of service. His work involved training workshops, strategic planning, leadership training, board/staff relations and assisting clients in funding proposal preparation. During this time he authored four books, three monographs, two manual systems and 175 essays called “Board Sense”. During its last two years Board Sense was available only by free subscription on the Internet and had over 800 subscribers world wide. All of these were related to his work.
