Reading the Chronicles of an Appalachian Woman will inspire one with hope. Today´s culture consist of extraordinary lack but be assured that there are positive solutions in a crying and dying generation. Kay is a Christian single woman who made the story ‘from nothing to something.’ She was homeless with five children and she reveals her secrets to a successful career. Kay put God in remembrance of his promises. God’s revealing word that declares provision, independence, housing, transportation, and entrepreneurship. The Beauty Shop, a God given dream, was an inspiration and flourished as a place of ministry while gaining community respect. Through overcoming her own personal struggles, she was able to give others hope by the way of compassion, prayer, and shining the Light of God to others.
About the Author
Kay Anna Fields resides in the Northeastern Appalachia of Kentucky. With her entrepreneurial spirit she accomplished her own business, Hair Care Specialist. She is an Ordained Minister and is a participant in local Poetry Societies where she received finalist awards in the 2009 Poetry Competitions. Kay has successfully fulfilled God given dreams while raising five children as a Christian single woman. Community volunteer projects include a Red Cross Video and she has assisted in coordinating two area Christian Single groups. Kay Fields is of the ancestry of the original McCoy family.
