About the Book

How to Get Lost is for young women from pre-teen to senior high and as a support to their female mentors. It is a blend of lesson plan and devotional to attempt to help young women see their worth as God sees them and to let go of trying to please the world. The scriptures are chosen as a quick reference for support when making life decisions. In the fast paced world of today, it is an attempt to ask pointed questions about how they see themselves, what the world might want them to see and then God’s perfect plan for their life. It is encouragement that if they have already chosen the wrong path that it is not too late to turn around. This was not written to solve all problems, as it is very brief, but to encourage young women to think about the decisions they are making. It was written as a letter from a mother´s perspective to her daughter and is not meant to replace life´s conversations but to encourage mother´s and daughters to talk about what is important. If we choose not to talk to our daughters, someone else will.

About the Author

Rose Marie Morris has lived most of her life in rural South Georgia. She is employed with the Department of Family and Children Services where she sees the results of young women living in a life of low self-esteem and poverty and sees the strength needed to get them out of it. She has a wonderful husband, Pete, and a beautiful daughter, Heather, and thanks the Good Lord for them daily. She comes from a large family where the seeds of faith were planted and the support given to grow and the guidance to keep moving in the right direction.
