About the Author
Barbara Letts Blodgett has been a speech therapist, conference planner, pastoral counselor and consultant/ staff member in three Episcopal dioceses. She is a wife, mother and grandmother. For thirty-three years she lived and worked in Connecticut. In 1997 she and her husband moved to an old farmhouse in Pennsylvania on a few acres of land. She now divides her time between Florida in the winters, sailing on the Chesapeake in the summers and Pennsylvania in the shoulder seasons. The writing of poetry began as a response to the beauty of the landscape in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Gradually it has come to include observations about life and human experience, some quite personal. She loves to travel and loves the simplicity of oriental art, architecture and poetry.
