About the Book

This novel is a true story based on the affairs of my friend and his family over the past few years. Victor Carter has been in and out of courtrooms and government offices fighting a legal battle that is so complex and intricate the only way to describe it all was to write a book.

The catalyst for the plot is when Victor applied for a loan at HSBC Bank Canada (at the time it was Hong Kong Bank of Canada) and was treated in the most insulting, humiliating way that he has ever experienced. As he tried to obtain a simple apology the red tape mounted, and not only apology was no given, but most of his Canadian rights became stepped on or ignored and he was soon insulted and humiliated even more than before! Thus starts the intrigue. Over the pages of this book there are detailed encounters with members of parliament, government officials, bank’s employees, members of police and intelligence organisations, and even Catholic School Service employees. Foreign dignitaries even enter the scene: an American Secret Service agent came to Victor´s door, once. Every single one of these characters is a real person and every one aided in making the struggle more difficult than it had to be. In fact, the book even lists proof of conspiracy in many different areas.

``Your Choice`` ends on a sombre but hopeful note. The main purpose of the novel is to educate people as to the true nature of the big business and the government in Canada, and how the individual can become lost in the realities of such a situation. Perhaps they can sympathize with and relate to the endless difficulties my friend faced throughout this book and the constant chain of doors slammed in his face. This book is a motivating, shocking book that will hopefully touch the hearts and souls of readers all over the world.

About the Author

W³odzimierz Walter Stanny (b. March 24, 1953 in W³oc³awek, Poland) is a Polish historian, politician and writer. He is described as independent. He is Catholic and married with two sons: Arthur and Martin. He obtained his Master of Science, specializing in organic chemistry and technology from the Academy of Agriculture and Technology in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He is Chief Executive Officer of Medicorp Ltd, author of the book "Your Choice", and has enjoyed a high reputation earned in his performance of the duties of these tasks. He has been recognized and appreciated by the Governments of both Canada and the Republic of Poland which, inter alia, includes the business transaction valued at 10,000,000.00 British pounds for the sale of the manuscript of the book "Your Choice" written in pseudo-Kafkaesque* form. His wife Ursula greatly contributed to the creation of that extraordinary piece of international literature written in pseudo-Kafkaesque form.
