Kathleen A. Flanagan, born: October 28, 1958 at 7:00am; in Montreal, Quebec. Raised in Chateauguay Quebec. I am of Irish, Scottish, French, English, French Canadian and American decent. Always a rival going on between my ears but it is what gives me imagination. A life that is better than some and worse than others. Elementary school St. Willibrod, high school Howard S. Billings My family, Mom (Florence Guile), and Dad Daniel J Flanagan, Sisters, Colleen, Charlene (Ron White and niece Caitlin), Corine (Chris Chapman), Brother Danny (SteveCalnen) an my Parents gone from sight but never lost within thy heart The words that inspire me are from all of you that have entered my life and even those who have not. For the most I do have to thank a few very special people that not only told me to push my mind but also gave me the courage to show the world the words we all feel at sometime in our lives. Darlene Carrier, a childhood friend who watched me go from a scared little devil to a woman of independence. I can always trust you with my deepest secrets. Without you life would have been so empty. The people I worked with for 14 years who encouraged me to keep writing and of course Mayuri who watched and read all my poems to check for spelling For the men that have entered my life and showed me that first loves are not that memorable. For all you teachers who said I was so, stupid and lazy. You were all so wrong. You’re ignorance to a problem (dyslexia) that I over came all on my own. Thank you for the struggles. It made me stronger .Imagine that I wrote a book Robert Longtin, a man I did not marry in the Eyes of God who has stood by me threw sickness and health, the happiness and the sadness thank you for all that you have done. It was cute to watch you drool over my cooking. We may be together forever or not. Just remember I love you now. There is so much I could say about myself however I will not bore you. You will see within my poems my imagination, thoughts and feelings within this vast yet small world. Nothing is perfect and I thank God that it is not. Oh how boring life would be.
