About the Book

Wait upon the Lord, is the story of one Christian woman’s’ life experience while growing up, the effect that her parents’ divorce had on her, her abusive marriage and divorce, the haunting words of her ex-husband “no man will ever want you” and the struggles she had to overcome as a single parent. You will be inspired at her triumph over the ordeal and rejoice with her when she allowed herself to begin trusting men again and finding what she thought would be that special one, until the Spirit of the Lord kept telling her to “Wait”.

About the Author

This is Carlene Martin’s fi rst published book. She lives with her husband Patrick in Ajax, Ontario. Together, they have six children. At the time of this publication, Carlene was in her third year pursuing her bachelors in Christian Counseling.
