About the Author
Jennifer G. Bailey, Ph.D., is an International Scholar and Project Manager for the Technology-Driven Education Project (TDEP) at William V. S. Tubman University in Harper, Liberia. Bailey is founder and president of the Bailey Institute, a 501(c)3 organization located in Maryland, USA whose vision is to “Eradicate Global Illiteracy.” Bailey has lectured on globalization and its impacts and illiteracy and economic development in South Africa, France, Liberia, Sierra Leone and the US. In 2010, Bailey was awarded a grant by the United States Department of State to lecture on: Illiteracy and Economic Development, in Kathmandu, Nepal; Colombo, Sri Lanka and the Maldives Islands. Bailey is editor of: A World Imbalanced: Change and Challenge in the Global Village—10 Lectures on Issues of Global Importance Delivered from 2004-2009, Xlibris, IN, 2010.
