My Journey: from Horses and Iceboxes to Aero Planes and Refrigeration is the story of one man’ life. Edward Gehweiler tells stories of about his small town childhood in the early 1900’s and the business that was owned and run by his extended family. He recounts the unexpected life that military service brought to everyday people during World War II. He chronicles his move back home and the struggle to find employment as the armed forces released an army into civilian life.
