Linda Rivers Smith is a retired educator who received her bachelor’s degree in English from Illinois State University and her master’s degree from the University of Illinois. Linda has always enjoyed writing and telling stories to her grandchildren. Linda is now living in Centerville, Tennessee with her husband, Dick. They are raising two grandchildren, Faith, 7 and Joe, 9. In her spare time, and with the insistence of her grandchildren, Linda began writing children’s books with The Apple Tree being her first.
