About the Book

Brown Beary and Jon-Paul are both 45 years old now. Over the years many children have continued to play with him. The photo on the back cover shows him as he appears now, well-worn and still the object of affection to many a little girl and boy. His story is dedicated to Jon-Paul, his sister, Leslie, and his two younger brothers, Patrick and Joey.

About the Author

Gayle is the mother of Jon-Paul. She is from the Midwest and currently lives in Iowa. She wrote this story several years ago based on incidents that actually happened while Jon-Paul was growing up. She is now retired and lives with her two dogs, Gracie, a Saint Bernard and Foxie, a terrier.
