A little girl and her endearing grandpa set out on a walk and observe all the beauty of nature feeling as though the wooded path they embark upon is a dreamy place made just for them. A path where, “The trees stand tall and strong…As giant stone sculptures.” A stroll with her beloved grandpa leads the way through an area lined with “…bright yellow Forsythia bushes…A rooster’s crow…Deep and loud…An alarm clock to awaken the wonders of a new day.” This charming children’s book is rich with beautiful verses and illustrations, page after page, it is a becoming picturesque display and story of a child and her gentle grandpa as they walk, “To a place of calmness…The calmness of sunrise, sails and polliwog tails.”
