About the Book

Born in 1928 in Toledo, Ohio, of Moslem-Arab parents, Dr. Faith Shiraz, a heart surgeon, has yet to find her soul mate. During her junior high days, Faith had the biggest shock of her life, a crush on one of her female classmates. Searching for true love, she left for California and attended medical school. Through a series of failed relationships due to alcohol and drugs, our heroine never doubts that she is good, not evil, moral, not depraved, and that a beautiful and lasting relationship is possible. This novel rises above the fears and phobias about homosexuality.

About the Author

ANA LAURA HARP co-authored the critically acclaimed film CHILDREN OF RAGE and has produced a series of well-executed educational films entitled I'M GOING TO BE as well as several feature films. She received an award from the University of California at Irvine for her essay on WORLD PEACE. For this novel, she combined forces with JAMES SANTILENA, an effective science and English teacher who has been nominated twice and appeared in WHO'S WHO OF AMERICAN TEACHERS. Together they penned the novel, AT LAST, for the purpose of instilling personal pride and fostering rejection of guilt in all people. There is room for all of us in this beautiful and diverse world.
