About the Book
Booga is a hilarious novel about a man who decides to quit his job, break his wedding engagement, drive across the country, compete in boomerang tournaments, and kill himself. Along the way, Boo Rasmuson is joined by a beautiful blonde hitchhiker, a green-glowing freelance journalist, and a mannequin who comes to life. This small group becomes the core of a new cultural phenomenon dubbed—“Booga,” which grows as it follows Boo on his quest to become a world-class boomerangist. Booga is a postmodern fable about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and ultimately about humanity’s destiny to recreate itself.
