About the Book

This is a philosophical approach to Islam that widens the scope of understanding beyond the teachings of the present day scholars. It breaks down the structure into segments for better perception of its ideology.

The basis of Islam is a reality of things easy to understand with contemplation and study of ALLAH’s creation and is not shrouded by myths and superstitions.

It describes Islam as a set of rights, duties and rituals and a commitment to ALLAH, Self and Mankind. Within it lie all the laws pertaining to social, political and economic affairs for all times to come.

About the Author

Abdullah Rokadia is well-educated with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. Born in a respectable Muslim family in Bombay, India, he learned the basics of Islam in his early childhood days. His interest in study of Islam took hold when he realized disparity and unconvincing rationale in views expressed by many scholars. In 1988 he dedicated himself for an extensive self-study of Islam. Instead of beginning with the history, he focused on Islamic laws that govern all aspects of life. This approach helped to bring the structure of Islam into proper perspective.
