About the Book
Life was good. Ben and Norma are a golden middle-aged couple who loved their professions, friends, leisure and each other. Each one compromised one major need before having married; Ben agreed to forego having children because Norma did not want any. Norma, who loved the arts, accepted the fact that Ben knew or cared about them as much as she did about taxidermy. For fourteen years their camaraderie, love and mutual respect outweighed any differences, until a summer on Cape Cod stirs a need in Norma that dramatically threatens their relationship. She finds herself attracted to women, one in particular, and embarks on a torturous journey of self-discovery, eventually having to make an agonizing choice.
