About the Book
Alone on a late night drive culminating on a deserted stretch of beach road in Connecticut, Kevin Johnson encounters the ghostly presence of a beautiful young woman who desperately pleads for his help, then promptly disappears. Obsessed by the strange occurrence, Kevin subsequently returns to the site of the incident, only to fall prey to the mysterious woman’s bewitching wiles. Saved from drowning and befriended by an elderly mariner, Kevin soon learns that on or around the same date for the past forty years, a young man has inexplicably perished on that same tract of beach road. As the only survivor of the siren’s deadly “call”, Kevin is determined to get to the bottom of the forty year old mystery ... even if it ultimately costs him his life.
