About the Book

As Sharon sat alone on the school bus one wish kept entering her mind; that she would have as many friends as all the other pretty and popular girls in the fourth grade. About the Author

Jim Nunes has an M.A. in Education and has been an elementary school teacher for over 10 years. He has traveled throughout the U.S. as a motivational speaker for youth. Jim’s friendship with Sharon Sacks became the inspiration for the “Tools for Success” program and the DisAbility Awareness Foundation, which he co-founded with Sharon. Jim hopes that the messages of those with “Different Abilities” will be an inspiration to all of us to make the most of our own potential, and to treat all people with tolerance, respect and value. Jim would like to thank his family, friends, and all the dedicated people behind the DAF organization for all of their support.
