About the Book

This book is about my family’s actual experience with domestic violence. What makes this book different is the perspective comes from the Christian Church World which has a completely different and diverse set of rules, regulations, and indoctrinations. This book shows how detrimental this type behavior can be for those chosen to be in a leadership position. The long lasting repercussions can be almost insurmountable. All of the people involved were in such a position. A Pastor, a Youth Leader, and an Usher. Leaders have an awesome responsibility to maintain their integrity at all costs. A willingness to ask for forgiveness and an effort to change ones behavior can be the key to recovery and restoration. Those hurt by these events were me, his wife, our children, the members of the congregation, other family members and hundreds more that cannot be named. It is the real account of how we dealt with this situation. Our oldest daughter however didn’t fare as well, it caused her much turmoil and pain from which she did not recover. She is now deceased leaving me with three children to raise without a biological mother or father to share their future. My most earnest desire is that his book will help some family who may be going through The same dilemma. I trust it will give them courage and hope for a better and brighter tomorrow.
