God Reached Down is a treasury of amazing true stories of answered prayers and other Divine interventions. Each story depicts a time or times when God intervened in someone’s life in a special way.

The stories also show God speaking to us in many ways. Sometimes He speaks through His Word, the Bible. Often He comes to us in prayer or after prayer, and we know in our hearts that He has spoken. At times, God speaks to us so clearly that it is as if He has imprinted His answers on our minds. He sends us messages through others and the angels. And there are times when we are gifted with His presence.
Many of the stories in this book came to me under unusual circumstances and in unexpected ways. Thus, there is often a story behind a story. A few of these unusual circumstances and stories are mentioned at the end of the book in the Author’s Afterword.
All the stories show God working in a personal way with His people. The stories also show that God cannot be contained in one place. He reaches in. He reaches out. And He reaches down.
About the Author
Patricia Patterson is a writer, teacher and businesswoman. She wrote her first story as an assignment for a high school English class. Patricia has written articles and poems for several major publications, including Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine and Tenacity Times. God Reached Down is her first book. Patricia is an affiliate member of the East Tennessee Branch of The National League of American Pen Women. She is a transplanted Mississippian, who now makes her home in Johnson City, Tennessee. Patricia has been a Bible teacher for many years. She says, “My greatest passion is studying the Bible, and my delight is sharing the Lord’s great truths with others.”
