About the Book

SPIRITS written by Saunders Newcomb His beloved mother’s mysterious early death, a manipulative wife’s selfishness, corruption in the Navy and unexpected nepotism in a family business morally damaged him as a young man. The love of a pure and sincere girl and the home spun ethics of her close-knit family save and restore him. SPIRITS has scope, spanning the Vietnam era to the late 70s and three continents, from Hong Kong to Argentina. It is the tale of a troubled young man, describing the passion and pain of lost loves, then the enlightenment and joyful realization of his innate self worth.
