About the Book
The Cumberland Falls in Kentucky is the site of an unusual natural phenomenon called a moonbow. It occurs when bright moonlight illuminates the falls and creates a rainbow in its mist.
As a romantic teenager, Kara Kendig was denied the chance to see the moonbow and thought she missed a precious memory. She vowed she’d return someday when the moon was full.
Driven by childhood memories, Kara uncovers the mysteries in her family history, raises her children, and opens a day care center. Along the way, she learns the best memories are made every day with our families.
About the Author
Born in Charlotte, NC, my family moved back to PA after WWII, where my parents were from originally. From the time I learned to read, I loved books and enjoyed writing about those things around me. This carried on into my teen years, where I wrote and edited the Feature section of my high school newspaper. I married shortly after high school and worked as an administrative assistant for thirty years while raising five children. I now have 11 grandchildren, have retired, and finally have the time to write the way I’ve wanted all my life.
