About the Author
Evie Michaud grew up in the manufacturing city of Waterbury, CT and lived in a typical working class neighborhood called Brooklyn. For many of us who now occupy homes in the suburbs, we fondly remember those years on streets familiar to generations of Americans. In addition to the city environment and the playground of her youth, Evie had opportunities as a child for delightful escapades and the making of vivid memories at the lake cottage in Wolcott. In her professional career Evie has worn many hats; teacher, director, coordinator, manager, and sales person but she finds it the most fun to be a writer. “I have finally given myself permission to follow my dream.” Now days she is also busy with grand parenting, tending to the family matriarch (her mom) and traveling to her beloved New Hampshire. It is in New Hampshire that she is inspired to write more stories that will comprise her second book, Letters To California.
