The Adventures of Coyote Cassidy: Gold Fever

About the Book

This story takes place on a distant planet inhabited by the Cactoons who are part cactus and part human. They enjoy the lifestyle of the Old West with covered wagons, six-shooters and tumbleweeds. Our hero, Coyote Cassidy, is a dashing Cactoon cowboy who always tells the truth, never swears and obeys the law. Coyote and his best friend Billy start their adventure at a pistol-shooting contest. Coyote is reluctant to enter the contest but does so to please Billy. Coyote is an expert marksman and wins the contest. His prizes include a trophy, Hector the donkey and gold prospecting equipment. Coyote and Billy decide to travel to Gold Country to seek their fortune. We follow them on an adventure through the Old West.

The pictures including the Cactoons are actually digital montages. They are composites of actual photographs with a few illustrations mixed in.
