About the Author Dr. Bernard P. Brennan was born in Brooklyn, NY and received his Ph. D. from Fordham, where he wrote his thesis on William James. He has continued his interest on the James family, both William and Henry, senior. He is publishing a book of letters by Henry James Senior. Apart from memberships in philosophical societies, he is a member of the Advisory Council of the New York City Audobon Society, NY chairman of the Society of King Charles the Martyr, past chairman of the Battle of Brooklyn Memorial Committee.
