About the Book

Violet has many obstacles to overcome if she wants to be perfect and popular in the sixth grade. During this journey, Violet discovers she has psychic abilities. Her abilities draw her friends, Andy and Jeff, into dangerous adventures. One of those adventures emerges from a dream. This dream reveals their teacher, Mrs. Bishop, being killed in an airplane accident. The next day, they all believe that is a premonition. So, they decided to save their teacher from this horrible death. However, Mrs. Bishop in the end teaches them about life while they try to save their teacher.

About the Author

Jennifer Hartog was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but grew up in Arizona. She attends high school and college in Florida. Her career of writing flourished during her years in college at University of Tampa. She had a few poems published in the school newspaper. However, her focus in college was studying to become an elementary teacher. She had a wonderful career in teaching. She spent most of her teaching career at a private school. For three years she taught and found out that some kinds were having difficulties in reading due to their learning disabilities. Hence, frustrated with the reading materials the public had to offer, she wrote stories for her class. She hoped that kids could lose themselves in the literature and educationally learning something in the process. This is why her present occupation is writing children’s books at her home in Treasure Island.
