About the Author

Joyce McManious is living testament to the fact that life can be rich at any age. After the death of her husband, Earl, Joyce moved to the mountains of Blue Ridge and built the mountain cabin of her dreams. When the spirit moves her, she puts some of her favorite memories on paper, reflecting days when life was slower and sometimes easier. Her collection of stories, found in The Book of Joyce, speaks strongly of the author’s spiritual strength, upon which she depends for her uniquely joyful outlook on life.
