About the Book

This is a sampling of the illustration and personal artwork created by Anthony Freda in the last decade. It showcases work created for publications including Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker and others. Some of the pieces have been chosen to be included in exclusive collections like The Society of Illustrators, American Illustrations and Communication Arts competitions.

We see a heavy metal dinosaur painted for Rolling Stone and a portrait of Dolly the cloned sheep executed for Time. The images range from humorous to serious social commentary, but are all filtered through Freda´s particular take on things. He paints on objects from American ephemera itself to create images focusing on the issues of the day.
