About the Book

Through her seven years of life, Angel Garner and her great-grandmother have been best friends. This all changes the day her great-grandmother, “Angie”, passes away. But, on her death bed, the frail, old woman reveals a dark family secret that little Angel is promised not to tell anyone else about. Now, after eight years, Angel and her family decide to take a vacation from her flourishing singing career. The place of choice, Hawaii, was where her great-grandmother spent some of her best years; also, some of her worst. Suddenly, the fourteen year old girl finds herself living in a whirlpool of confusion. After meeting a new guy and breaking up with her boyfriend everything goes wrong. Whether it’s stalking, love, teenage drama, or pregnancy, she can deal with it. But, nothing can prepare her for the secret she thought she already knew.

About the Author

Born and raised in Ohio, I have always been interested in other places. This, in part, is why I became a writer. In books, you can be anywhere and anyone you want to be. Opening a page in a story is like opening a door into a whole new life. I started writing at the age of eight. At that time it was just two page stories that I would eventually lose. I feel that I have moved ahead as a writer, which is the reason I have started creating books. This one being my first, of course.
