About the Book

Living on the street is hard. For Joeleen, taking care of both old man Rufus, with his flights in and out of reality, and her jealous boyfriend, Artimus, made homelessness even harder. Rufus taught her how to survive without a roof over her head, but now he’s hurting, and needs a roof over his head or he will die.
