About the Author

Growing up in the United States Virgin Islands, I have always enjoyed watching my mom plant and grow her garden. Like a lot of people, she would often “talk” to the fruits and vegetables, as if they were humans. Now, later in life, and working in the produce department of a large chain, I must say the fruits and vegetables do take on a personality of there own. I have been writing as a hobby now for over 15 years, and the idea for this particular story came to me after the 911 attacks, which like most of us can recall where we were and what we were thinking when it happened. For me, being in London and witnessing the coming together the American people and its vast and diverse cultures was astonishing. It is with this inspiration I bring to you the story of a vast and cultured market place for some of the different fruits who although were breaded in different area, just like the American people, we and they all share some common dream, hope, fear, and destiny.
