About the Book

The author brings his rich background experience into focus in this wide-ranging, eclectic series of poems. These 77 poems extend from humorous to deeply spiritual and from mature thoughts on life to environmental concerns. Some may bring laughter and some may bring tears, but hopefully, they will all give you pause for reflection. The concept proposed in “Let Happiness Come to Your Door,” is the author’s wish for your continued enjoyment as you travel life’s road. Both traditional structure and free verse are used, but the author favors the traditional.

About the Author

Don Tuthill, at age 75, has had a lot of experience and has seen a lot of this world. He lived in France for a year, in Japan for seven years. He has been to most countries in the Pacific and East Asia, as well as most of those in southern Europe. “The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.” (Mohammad Ali.) As his poems will show, Don Tuthill, a graduate of Stanford and retired Navy Commander, has wasted none of his 75 years.
