About the Book

"YOU' is a collection of thoughts told to young people in a question and answer type dialogue reminding them of their ability to create an environment in the course of their day that is peaceful, productive and happy for them and the people they share their day with. It shows them in words and illustrations the good feelings that come from being helpful, kind and courteous. It reminds even the smallest child that even our smile can bring happiness to someone we meet, and make their day better. Simply by "being" we can bring great joy.

About the Author

Sandra Martineau is a teacher who has taught first grade and computer literacy. She has been a violinist since she was 7 years old, and teaches the violin in school’s in Southern New England, as well as at home. She has four children she dearly admires, and a very patient husband of 32 years. She has become a grandmother this year for the first time and feels very blessed. She loves to sew, to be with her family, and she has a very special place in her heart for her friends…..the dearest people she knows.
