About the Book

He begins a journey that takes him from ancient rain-soaked jungles to modern suburbia, a journey punctuated with visits from other lost souls awaiting the great doors to welcome them in. Through an assortment of languages and cultures he discovers a thread that unites them all. The Year of the Horse takes an irreverent and moving look at what happens when spiritual traditions collide.

About the Author

From Long Beach, California, Joshua B. Weston holds a BA in American Literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and an MA in Linguistics from California State University Long Beach. The Year of the Horse, his debut book, successfully blends both his interest in literature and language.
