About the Book
Hidden Valley is a fictional story of a young man and his adventures in and out of a hidden valley, located in the eastern part of Nevada. Having recently lost his father, he sold his acreage to a neighbor and left that part of his life behind, in the quest of a new life. After riding for several days on his horse, he accidentally came across a hidden valley. Although, drunken Indians and greedy white men shot him at, he was able to attain his goal, by purchasing the valley and marrying the girl of his dreams.
About the Author
Robert Harvey was born in West Virginia in 1929 but lived most of his life in Florida. He was in the U.S. Military for twelve years during which time he served in the Korean War. After his service with the Military, Bob entered the construction business and later began designing swimming pools. He became a Florida State Certified commercial pool contractor. Following thirty years in the swimming pool business, Bob and his wife retired to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia. The parents of two daughters and four grandchildren, the Harveys have recently become great-parents. Hidden Valley is the result of an Old West Adventure that had been a dream many years for Bob. Mr Harvey, thought of the idea for this book while recuperating from an injury he received in Korea. An avid reader, he greatly enjoyed tales of the old west.
