The Deneen Family built a pond in their backyard the summer and fall of 2004. In the book, "Our New Water Garden and Koi Pond", the author, Lorraine R. Deneen share her family´s experiences about how their pond progressed into a beautiful water garden and Koi pond in one year.

About the Author
Lorraine Deneen was born in Chicago, moved to Northern Wisconsin with her family at an early age. She returned to Chicago to go into Nursing School. She met her husband, Mike, and married a year after graduation. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. She is retired after 33 years of nursing. She enjoys many hobbies such as; traveling, gardening, photography, her family and new pond.
