About the Book
Far from the noise and hubbub of cities and towns and even further from oceans, ferries, lobstermen and dunes, a lone visitor comes each summer. A one-footed seagull named Peg comes to live on a raft in a lake near a camp known to all as Tepeetonka.
About the Author
Jamie Dickinson lives in Connecticut with his wife Maite and his son Nicholas. He works at The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk and visits the Adirondack Mountains each summer. Mark Richardson is an artist and woodworker who has illustrated several children’s books. He shares a house in Connecticut with his wife Barbara, son Leo, their cat Inky as well as house wrens, cat birds, cardinals, wood thrushes, chickadees, tufted titmice and even a northern parula who visit each summer
