About the Book

The birth of my daughter inspired me to begin writing short-story children’s book. The theme of my books always centered around my family and the children within. Another topic of importance to me in my stories is writing about children of differences racially to get along; as expressed in “Apple and Oranges” and “Flower Cakes and Buns”. I hope my stories will be as big an inspiration and interest to the readers as they are to me.

About the Author

Being a very good artist at a very young age, I won art competitions in High School and College. I was also pursued by a correspondence art school at age twelve. When my daughter was born, I began writing short-story children’s books. My artistic talents allowed me to illustrate them, as well. Art, writing and making crafts are my passion. My daughter and I live in Cleveland, Ohio and creating beautiful art is still an enjoyment to me.
