About the Book

"IN SECRET SIN is packed with raw, human emotions and takes place in the early 1960’s. Lyle Svenson, a white racist, and sporting a violent temper, is adamant to his wife, Helen, there be no children in their marriage. However, one careless night of lovemaking, Eric is conceived, much to his father’s dislike. Eric must bear this stigma throughout his formative years and is kept in the darkness, along with fear of his father who is quick to abuse him. His parents take all the sunshine as they utilize every bit of energy to obtain total wealth. At age nineteen, Eric is forced into marriage with a girl he does not want. A baby daughter is born… she becomes Eric’s only means of happiness. Five years into his marriage, Eric willingly accepts friendship from a young, black man. In time, their friendship deepens…soon they become lover.

About the Author

The author was born in Whitehall, Montana of Korean descent. Elementary schooling was in Montana, New York and Chicago, junior high and high school in Los Angeles. Has been married twenty-four years to a caring husband, and they live in beautiful Garden Grove, California. All the turmoil that seemed to follow the author before her marriage is behind her, and today, she is at peace with herself, with time to write, drawing episodes from life’s encounters.
