About the Author

James Denver Klote, a native of Detroit, Michigan was graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1987 with a double major in Sociology and Political Science. From his start in fund raising with the United Way, he is now president of the largest, national, full-time, resident-directed fund raising consulting firm in the United States. His company is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia. He divides his time between his family and traveling the country overseeing the direction and success of Capital Campaigns directed by his consultants.
