About the Book

"A masked Ray Manno rapes Mary Valdez; the unidentified Hammer commits his fifth robbery and mayhem, confounding police with his unique getaways; and, police Captain Holler sexually molests his five-year old daughter. Circumstances bring the criminals into an unstable alliance, resulting in three murders and a deadly rape. Prosecutor Commons is kidnapped, beaten, and becomes a murder suspect. Manno begins to romance Valdez. Can Commons resist political pressures? Will Valdez's life be saved? Is Hammer pivotal in solving the cases? Can the police identify and find him? Why is the justice system favoring Holler?

About the Author

Nick Novick holds degrees from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and Duke University Law School and served as a felony prosecutor in California. As a faculty advisor to the National District Attorneys College, Houston University, he traveled nationwide on behalf of the National District Attorneys Association and the College. Previously, Nick was an executive in international freight and traveled much of the world. He and his family lived in Paris, France, for a number of years. He is the author of Dead Lawyers and is currently completing a nonfiction of growing up in a multi-national immigrant community of coal miners.
