About the Book

The Fifth Season is a book of poems expressing the circles of life. Sometimes, it's humorous. Sometimes, it's dealing with the ups and downs in our own personal world, and in the faith we need to get through it all. Hope you find the poems enjoyable.

About the Author

I am a native Texan, who began writing poetry at an early age. As time progressed, my passion for poetry continued to grow. Based on my and other individual’s experiences I’ve learned about pain, turmoil, heartaches, and other challenges. I’ve also learned what it takes to get through it all. On the opposite side of the coin I’ve shared pleasurable moments with those expressing their triumphs, joys, success, and happiness. This equally made me enthusiastic about writing poetry and short stories. My primary inspiration was my mother, but sadly she passed away. Other wonderful inspirations are my children, adorable grandkids, and those who keep believing in me! Some of my other works include A Soldier in the Making, a short story published by the Taj Mahal Review, a poem entitled Family Picnic featured in the book The Golden Wings, and another poetry book, The Fifth Season.
