About the Book

Before the Dawn brings together the culmination of over a decade in the life of one young man, as he poignantly reveals his deepest aspirations, darkest struggles, and introspective insights into the pursuit of love, the understanding of humanity, and the journey of faith. Part poetry and lyric, part prayerful and pragmatic, Pete Ohlinger adeptly combines longings and logic in a uniquely complex view of life, romance, and truth, infused with the grand meaning and understanding God gives to it all.

About the Author

Before the Dawn author Pete Ohlinger currently lives in southern Wisconsin, in the same small town in which he grew up. He is a Distance Learning Program student at Liberty University, pursuing degrees in Psychology and Marital and Family Counseling. Pete is active in his local church where he plays bass guitar and sings in the worship team, and is also nearing completion of a studio recording project with the rock band Dusk of Mind. In addition to writing and music, he enjoys chess, gardening, gourmet cooking, and fishing with his father at his parent's northern Wisconsin home.
