About the Book

Leaving North Carolina for a retirement community in Pennsylvania ended our affair with boats. It did not make us stop talking about the adventures. After the aerobic exercise class, a group would sometimes gather in the sun room for coffee and sociability. When the conversation turned to boats, it became clear those of us who had been involved shared common experiences. Reading these yarns will strike a chord with boaters, and produce wonder in the minds of those who missed this important facet of life.
