About the Author

Barbara Gary is twenty-seven years of age, and currently resides in Marlton, New Jersey. She grew up in a household of four girls and happens to be the second born daughter to her parents Jesse and Rudene Gary. The writer loves God first and foremost, and is thankful for his mercies. Her inspiration for writing poetry has been given to her by her family as well as her personal experiences. The author has loved to write stories ever since her elementary school days, and has not been able to stop since. Barbara uses her own life experiences to relate to her reader’s and their feelings on the subject. Because of her struggle through life, the writer has found that she can be of help to the reader in their time of need. Growing up with Sickle Cell Anemia, has given the author the strong backbone needed to continue fighting for her life. Barbara has waited long for this piece of work to be published. Her Sickle Cell has tried to set her back from accomplishing this feat, but with God by her side she can do all things through Christ that strengthens her.
