About the Book
This is the story of my World War II experience, from receiving my ‘notice’ in 1943, to my ‘discharge’ in 1945. It tells of my experience from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to the Ardennes Forest in Germany, from basic training to the Battle of the Bulge, from Omaha Beach to Victory in Europe!
I have tried to combine stories of my personal experience, some humorous and some serious, with basic battalion battle diary. I hope that this makes for an interesting mix of reading to tell the story of my war experience.
It is dedicated to all of those who fought and died in World War II.
